Seriously though, why is a cover letter necessary after spending 5 hours on my CV?? On Tuesday, I got my first phone interview in over 2 years. I told her I was at my current nannying job, she said that’s fine. 5 minutes in, my 2 year old starts nagging at me for a snack. So as quick as I can, I grab the most sugary thing I could find and give it to him. Then, I walk outside to where it is quieter and stand next to a tree. The dog keeps trying to get to the tree and I realize that he’s trying to eat 2 baby birds that have fallen out of the nest. With one hand, I’m trying to keep him away from the birds without touching them, the other hand is trying to keep loch from throwing a football in the tree, and my shoulder is holding on to the phone with the interviewer. At least I can multi-task?

Finals week rants continued

First of all- to the cunt playing “what makes you beautiful” on repeat in the UMC.. stop it. I just took my 7:30-10:00pm final so just stop it. Trust me, one direction is NOT singing about you, so don’t dance and sing around so excited.

Secondly- whooping after a final is never appropriate. I don’t care if it’s your last final in your life… you’re obnoxious and distracting me.

Lastly- I tried studying at the Louisville public library today. I don’t which is worse, listening to bros and hoes cram in Norlin or getting hit on by homeless people in public libraries.

Fuck, I never actually

Uhm, I don’t know why I suck at motivation and doing shit. So far, finals week for me has consisted of lugging back and forth all the material I haven’t touched this last semester from coffee shop to coffee shop..

Right now, all I can think of is how I can convince the laughing goat to play “shots” by LMFAO and hand out espresso shots.

I don’t have a free hour until May 8th. When the craziness is over, I am hiking, climbing, swimming, gardening, and hopefully doing a little bit of traveling to get nurtured by nature.

Coachella Pass

I just sent out my Coachella pass! I’m sorry for those that e-mailed and it was too late. I went with the first person to e-mail me and I’m happy with my choice. Have fun at Coachella, Ilya!!
